Downsizing the battery powered toys

Watch out! I'm in a purging sort of mood. Up on the chopping block today, electronic/ battery powered toys. I'm going to significantly cut back on the battery powered toys in our home. They're expensive to keep powered and I'm just not a fan of one function types of toys. I want the boys to use their imaginations and not be limited by toys that only light up and play songs. We love musical instruments, blocks, action figures, pirate ships and vehicles of every type. My 4 yr old especially loves dress up, I think I may have a future director or actor on my hands! :)
