Virginia Children's Festival this Saturday, October 6th!

The 24th annual AT&T Children's Festival is this Saturday, October 6th at Town Point Park in downtown Norfolk from 10-3. We attended this event last year and had so much fun! I thought I might just share a few tips for those of you who plan on going Saturday.

-The event gets very busy so its a good idea to show up early (especially if you have a little one who must get their face painted & don't want to spend the day in lines!)

- Admission is $3 a person, infants are free & if you have an AT&T cell phone you also get in free! (One admission per AT&T cell phone owner)

-bring cash, there will be vendors & you know you will want a snow cone with the highs forecasted to be in the 80's :)

-parking will go fast. Last year we parked in a garage near Nautilus and walked over to the park. (Another reason to have cash on hand)

-bring your stroller, we are bringing our double. I predict we will have two tired kids at the end of the day.

- bring hats & sunscreen for yourself & little ones
