National Learn to Swim Day

Join us for the first annual National Learn to Swim Day and the grand opening of Greenbrier Family YMCA’s outdoor pool! YMCA members and non-members are invited to take part in the event, which will feature water safety clinics, raffles, giveaways and time to play with the hottest pool toys for the summer from SwimWays. National Learn to Swim Day is a nationwide campaign timed to National Water Safety Month (May) to raise awareness about the importance of teaching children to swim, and provide resources to parents for teaching their kids the important skill.
